Goldenshteyn Chusidl כסידל

German Goldenshetyn was a Moldavian Clarinet player and band leader who came to this country with hundreds of tunes unknown in the United States.
Played here by Mirko and Harry with a southern Appalachian feel. Clawhammer banjo is not a traditional Klezmer instrument, but it seemed to fit in nicely on this tune.

These are all from our Oct 30 2010 performance at the Falcon in Marlboro, NY.
The first tune is a Ladino breaking up song followed by a Balkan dance tune,
a Hungarian Love Song and a couple of Klezmer tunes we like to play.
